Would you like to know more about LAN and the people behind the project? Have a look at the interview with Sudeep Reddy, the LAN Network Lead Developer below!

Q: You have been working in the crypto sector for quite a long time now. Tell us more about how you got into crypto.
A: I am a certified ethical hacker and am aware of the security protocols for past 15 years. I got into crypto development when there was a litecoin transfer app requirement from one of my clients 9 years back and from then on I liked the methodology of storage since I did research on algorithms and was working on it from then on.

Q: What is the most serious problem you have faced in your work? What, do you think, is the best way to overcome problems in general?
A: Since I work on research projects in blockchain, AI, ML & Image Processing, most of the time, I might not get solutions/approaches in few cases even in research papers. Since I am associated with IIIT-H and IIT-H and have access to the professors over there, I can discuss with the concerned professors and collaborate with them on working out the solutions for the unsolved research problems.

Q: What is the best technological feature of LAN Network in your opinion?
A: LAN uses POA which makes the transactions executed fast and preserving the concept of decentralization and also the time bound access permissions are managed at the smart contract level which is a unique feature. It also is using unique data structure for storage.

Q: What do you consider the biggest accomplishment of the LAN project for now? What about your personal achievements?
A: The NFT marketplace, which is under development, manages the minting at the backend, bypassing the default feature of the web3 protocol and making the platform very secure. Apart from LAN, I have deployed an application in Texas A&M University, which issues certificates over blockchain. APLMA analytics application developed by me is being used by all the prime ministers in the APAC region. MStripes app developed by me for Forest department was launched by the Prime Minister of India on August 15th 2021.
